INTRO

To support and promote the digital solutions created by Algerian youth to meet the challenges created by Covid 19, UNDP Algeria through its accelerator lab organized in partnership with the "Algeria Startup Challenge" (ASC) program; launched by the incubator Cap cowork; the Coronhackthon. ASC is a program that aims at supporting project holders with startup ideas and other innovative solutions to improve the living conditions of the Algerian consumer as well as the development of the collaborative economy. This event is organized under the edge of the minister delegate to the Prime minister in charge of Knowledge Economy and Startups and supported by many other elements of the ecosystem.

Solution mapping: 60 projects were identified across Algeria on various topics including health, economic, education, etc. 6 finalists were selected for experimentation. Experimentation: 5 projects have been experimented and tested. Growth: A meeting with the Minister of the Economy of knowledge and Startups for all teams has been organized. And the Minister provided his expertise and support to the project holders.
